EVENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Thrive Conference Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all attendees of Thrive Conference. By booking a ticket for Thrive, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms are made between Thrive Events Limited and the person purchasing or using a ticket for Thrive Conference.
1. Booking and payment
1.1. All tickets must be paid for in full at the time of booking in order to reserve a place at Thrive Conference.
1.2. We are unable to hold or reserve places without full payment.
2. Cancellations by attendees and ticket transfers
2.1. If you are unable to attend Thrive Conference, your ticket is non-refundable.
2.2. If you can no longer attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person. This is your responsibility.
2.3. Any ticket transfer must be completed before the event and you must provide us with the new attendee’s full name and email address so that we can update our records.
2.4. The person receiving the transferred ticket will be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
3. Changes or cancellation by Thrive Events Limited
3.1. Thrive Events Limited reserves the right to make changes to Thrive Conference where reasonably necessary. This may include changes to the venue, timings, programme, speakers, educators, shoot sessions, class content or schedule.
3.2. Where possible, we will keep any changes to a minimum and aim to deliver the event in a broadly equivalent form to that advertised.
3.3. If we cancel Thrive Conference, or make a significant change to the event, you will be offered one of the following:
-
the option to accept the revised arrangements;

the option to transfer to an alternative event offered by us, with a refund of any difference in ticket price where applicable; or
-
a refund of all monies paid to Thrive Events Limited for your ticket.
3.4. We are not responsible for any additional costs you may incur as a result of cancellation or changes, including travel, accommodation or other associated expenses.
4. Circumstances beyond our control
4.1. If Thrive Conference is cancelled, postponed or materially affected by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, fire, flood, industrial disputes, civil unrest, terrorist activity, war, public health emergencies, venue closure, or any other unusual or unforeseeable circumstance, we will offer you either:

a transfer to a rearranged date or alternative event; or
-
a refund of the amount paid for your ticket.
4.2. We are not responsible for any travel, accommodation or other related costs you incur in connection with such circumstances.
4.3. If Thrive Conference goes ahead as planned but you are unable to attend due to your own circumstances, travel disruption or any other matter outside our control, no refund will be due.
5. Speakers, educators and programme changes
5.1. If a speaker, educator, mentor, host or shoot leader is unable to attend due to illness or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control, Thrive Events Limited may appoint a suitable replacement or amend the programme accordingly.
5.2. Any published schedule, itinerary, speaker line-up, shoot plan or class description is intended as a guide and may change where reasonably necessary.
6. Travel and accommodation
6.1. You are responsible for arranging and paying for your own travel, accommodation and any related costs connected with attending Thrive Conference.
6.2. Thrive Events Limited is not liable for any loss, delay or additional expense caused by disruption to travel or transport services, including disruption caused by weather, strikes, industrial action, civil disturbance, illness or similar events outside our control.
7. Health, safety and behaviour
7.1. We want Thrive Conference to be a safe, respectful and welcoming environment for all attendees, speakers, team members and suppliers.
7.2. You agree to behave in a respectful and professional manner throughout the event.
7.3. Thrive Events Limited reserves the right to refuse entry or require any attendee to leave the event without refund if their behaviour is abusive, disruptive, unsafe, intimidating, discriminatory, harassing or otherwise inappropriate.
7.4. You must comply with all health and safety instructions given by Thrive Events Limited, venue staff or any official event representative.
8. Liability
8.1. Thrive Events Limited is responsible for losses you suffer as a direct result of our breach of these Terms and Conditions, unless the loss:
-
was not reasonably foreseeable by you and us at the time of booking; or
-
is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
8.2. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability for: -
death or personal injury caused by negligence;
-
fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
-
any other liability which cannot legally be excluded or limited.
8.3. You are responsible for your own personal belongings at Thrive Conference. Thrive Events Limited accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal property, except where caused by our negligence.
9. Photography and filming
9.1. Photography and filming may take place at Thrive Conference for promotional, editorial and archival purposes.
9.2. By attending Thrive Conference, you acknowledge that you may appear in photographs or video footage captured at the event.
9.3. If you would prefer not to be featured in close-up promotional imagery, please let a member of the Thrive team know in advance or at the event and we will do our best to accommodate that request where reasonably possible.

10. Privacy and attendee information
10.1. Any personal information you provide to us in connection with your booking will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10.2. We will use your information for purposes connected with administering Thrive Conference and communicating important event information to you.
10.3. We will not share your personal information except where necessary for the operation of the event, where set out in our Privacy Policy, or where required by law.
11. Acceptance of these Terms
11.1. By booking a ticket for Thrive Conference, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
12. Governing law
12.1. These Terms and Conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of them shall be governed by the law of England and Wales.
12.2. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
