ABOUT MUSE & MIRROR
GERMANY
For almost a decade, we, Ronja J. Waßmuth (*91) and Victor Hamke (*87), based in Leipzig, Germany, have worked with clients and photographers throughout Europe.
Starting from conceptual portrait work, we found our niche as photographers and educators in the realms of mystical and sensual couple and wedding photography.
We strive for our images to capture the essence of love, longing and nostalgia in a poetic way. Not just in front of the camera, but based on a genuine connection and mood we try to create with the people that put their trust in us.
There is one quote by Robert Frank, that captures our ideals perfectly:
“When people look at my pictures I want them to feel the way they do when they want to read a line of a poem twice.”
ABOUT ROCIO
SPAIN
Rocio was born in Colombia. She decided to come to study cinematography in Madrid at Septima Ars and then photography at Efti, when she was 20. She got a Master in digital photography.
For more than 20 years now, she has been a documentary photographer. Her work has been mainly focusing on wedding and family reportages in Spain and abroad. But her professional and personal developments are intimately connected. And the last years, her eagerness to grow, to experiment and to learn, led her to experiment new mediums such as video and sound to propose her services to small companies and associations.
She truly believes that emotions are extremely powerful in their abilty to create memories. But these memories are fragile, and she uses photography as her main tool to recover those, to freeze and to share them.
Since 2016, besides her freelance activities, she has been working with Franck Boutonnet for Smoy Photography.
ABOUT MONIKA
The only thing Mónika Frías loves more than a good story is being the one to tell it. A videographer, photographer and graphic designer, Mónika has been sharing visual tales for more than 10 years.
Drawing from live music, classic photography, Architecture and fashion, her style is timeless, emotional and elegant with an editorial flair. Mónika thrives on the creative freedom of photography and art direction, and she understands the importance of her role.
Whether shooting for a couple or a brand, “I know that my way of telling the story is how it will be remembered, and I try to make the experience appear in frames the way it felt in person. It’s beautiful when a couple or client comes to me and says, ‘It’s better than we even imagined.’
Mónika lives in Barcelona, Spain but travels worldwide and only works with a limited amount of clients each year to ensure high standards and quality experience. Named one of the best of Europe by THE LANE.

Tina Vedrine is a celebrated wedding photographer renowned for her ability to capture the magic and intimacy of special moments creatively.
With a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling, Tina has established herself as a top choice for couples seeking to preserve their wedding memories in the most beautiful and authentic way.
Her journey into photography began in her teenage years, when she developed a love for visual arts and a fascination with capturing movement in dance.
Over the years, Tina honed her skills through formal education and hands-on experience, eventually specialising in wedding photography. Her style is characterised by a blend of traditional and contemporary techniques, ensuring that every photo is not just a picture but a cherished memory.

ABOUT KIRSTY
UK
Kirsty Mackenzie has been photographing weddings for over a decade and thrives on capturing fun, modern weddings. She specialises in laidback, natural wedding photography for modern couples who love to have fun and party. Her work is filled with energy, joy, and colour.
In recent years, Kirsty has organised and led styled shoot workshops and offers mentoring to fellow wedding photographers. She has also been named one of the Top 50 UK wedding photographers for three consecutive years by Professional Photo Magazine.
Kirsty lives in Hampshire with her husband Greg and a very demanding cat named Pablo. She loves cheese (and food in general), cats, and color. Plus, you’ll very rarely see her without a hat on.
ABOUT THE WOODS
SOUTH AFRICA
Born in KwaZulu Natal in South Africa, Matt worked as a professional sailor before switching over to photography in 2011.
For the first 6 years of his career Matt split his time between photojournalism, lecturing and working on his own personal projects. He began shooting weddings in 2017 but continues to shoot his own essays alongside his commercial work.
A self-described “big guy” with a “big beard” who likes to shoot alone, he considers himself fortunate that clients who hire him tend to be the creative types who appreciate a photographer with a distinctive style. His images, photographed on digital and film with Canon and Rolleiflex cameras, have a feeling “of strangeness and mystery,” edited in post to reflect what Kay felt when he captured them.
